I was born in 1978 and raised in Bethany, CT.  As a child, I maintained a large stuffed animal collection, feared cat burglars, and dreamed of becoming a professional tennis player, like Ivan Lendl.  During college, I studied English Literature, found a sweet work-study job in the weight room, and constructed a Daniel Larusso papier-mache hand puppet in art class.  I graduated in 2000 and moved to Boston, MA, where I lived for nine years and became a middle school teacher.  Currently, I live in New York City, where I write/perform comedy and teach 8th grade English.
